A drizzling of sweet mango sauce is a great way to elevate a variety of dishes from the savory to the sweet. While I particularly enjoy this sauce with seafood and chicken dishes, I’m always finding new ways to use this delicious three ingredient sauce.

What is Good with Sweet Mango Sauce?

The uses for sweet mango sauce are endless. It can be used to add a depth of flavor to savory dishes, such as fish, chicken, pork, rice bowls, and sushi. In addition, you can use it as a dipping sauce for appetizers, such as shrimp or spring rolls, or as a drizzle for a variety of deserts. I’m always finding new ways to use this sauce and am never disappointed.

How to Make Sweet Mango Sauce

Making sweet mango sauce is very simple and only requires three ingredients. Below are step-by-step instructions:

1. Cut the mango into cubes and add it to the blender. I would use a riper mango as it will be sweeter and make a sweeter sauce.

Cut the mango into small chunks to be pureed into a mango sauce.

2. Squeeze the juice from a half of a lemon into the blender and add the sugar.

Add sugar to the blender as it will sweeten the mango sauce.

3. Start by blending the sauce on medium-low and increase gradually if needed. Blend until the mango mixture has the consistency of a sauce. This typically takes around 30-45 seconds.

Blend the mango, lemon juice, and sugar to make the mango sauce.

4. Serve and enjoy!
