Equipment

  • 1 Sharp knife
  • 1 Serving platter or bowl

Ingredients

  • 20 oz. Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 Ball Burrata Cheese
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Basil Leaves Chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Balsamic Glaze
  • Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper

Instructions

  • First, slice the cherry tomatoes in half and place in a serving bowl.
  • Next, chop the basil leaves and sprinkle evenly over the tomatoes.
  • After you add the basil, lightly season the tomatoes and basil with sea salt.
  • Next, add the burrata cheese ball to the center of your caprese salad. You may need to move the tomatoes around a bit to make room for the burrata ball.
  • Once the barrata is in place, make a horizontal and vertical slice on the burrata ball and gently split it open with your knife.
  • Season your burrata caprese salad with another light round of sea salt and some cracked black pepper.
  • To finish, drizzle the salad with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  • Serve and enjoy!
